ABOUT US
The Afro Culture Preservation Council Inc. (ACPC) originated in 1984. ACPC purpose is to preserve and promote the Nguzo Saba value system and symbols that form the founding core of the celebration of Kwanzaa.
ACPC provides educational support, cultural enrichment, and opportunities for self-expression to at-risk youth, adults, and the community through the creative arts.

OUR MisSION
Afro Culture Preservation Council (ACPC) provides educational support, cultural enrichment, and opportunities for self-expression to at-risk youth and adults through the creative arts in Philadelphia.
Values:
Preserve: Preserve and promote the Nguzo Saba value system, and symbols that form the founding core of the celebration of Kwanzaa.
Present: The Kwanzaa Children's Festival and Kwanzaa annual celebration
Educate: Students of all racial and ethnic groups to build a foundation of commitment to explore the creative arts
Celebrate: Kwanzaa is an annual celebration of African-American culture from December 26 to January 1, culminating in a communal feast called Karamu.
